Well, if there is one thing I've learned watching the behavior of pollsters over the years is this - there are about 30 teams to choose from, and you always rank those 30 teams in approximately the same place you rated them at the begining of the year before. Gradually these things change over time, but it's a slow process... Voters think, well gosh, OU has been a top 5 team since 2001... they must be good.. I know they lost a lot, but geee.. I'll put em at 6, cause I'm sure they've gotta be good.

I agree that we're overrated. But who are we going to lose to early that we shouldn't? If by early you mean nonconference, the only one with a chance is Notre Dame, and we have them at home this year. Do you really think they're likely to beat us?

The only "early" game I can see us losing this year is at MSU. We're the only ones who hate us as much as you guys do. :wink2:

who knows... you have issues on D, and don't have Braylon to bail you out... Henne is 'on his own' this year in terms of the passing game... that schizophrenic part at the end had me bugging out...
