Who wins the US Open at Pebble Beach?

Pebble Beach is one of the most scenic golf courses in the world. I had an opportunity to be a spectator a number of years ago at a Seniors/Champions event. Great venue. I wonder how this course will be set up for the open?

Thicker rough and narrower fairways, almost assured.

Lava pits, quicksand, and hungry alligators and serpents might make it less playable.

I am rooting for a new face and personality to win the Open.

Until Woods gets back to playing golf and not screwing around I have no idea on who to bet on for a major championship. It is just a crapshoot because so many guys can win when there is no Woods. Mickelson could win but I would never bet money (even fake) on him and I guess there's Westwood, Els (who I would like to see win) and the rest of the guys on the tour but no Tiger no major as far as I'm concerned.

NBC has Tiger in every sentence coming out of the announcers mouths and now they are pulling out the Tiger highlights and trying to build the drama for tomorrow...but are these really the Tiger highlights we want to see....
