Honestly I don’t care if he decides to retire/leave or whatever that’s his prerogative. Enjoy the ride folks while it last.

The only thing I’ve noticed that would be the slightest indication that might be considering retirement is that he’s not recruiting with the same fire and intensity this year since he came back from suspension.

His sideline demeanor is pretty typical so I have no idea why people are reading into that.

It’s the recruiting part that has me mildly thinking he’s done. Urban has always recruited like a mad man. Just not seeing that this year.

Do you really know what Urban is doing this year versus previous years to conclude there isn't the same fire and intensity? Or are you looking at the results where the program is fighting major headwinds of negative press and negative recruiting from competing coaches?

I'm not ready to say he's right about Meyer. He's been wrong plenty.

it's one thing to be right or wrong about such a prediction. it's quite another thing to offer up such a rumor during the week of the game.

like many, nevada has whined and cried about the dangers of media members spouting rumors and innuendo. does that stop him from doing that very thing during our biggest week and running to his tabloid buddy with a national audience? absolutely not. nevadabuck is a peddler of rumors, innuendo, and half-truths interspersed with a few crumbs made of real stuff. and he peddles all of that because it accomplishes one thing and one thing only: it feeds his massive ego.
