Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Totally agree.
I actually know a few guys who played for Saban. Both said it was miserable. And they both said that if their kid wanted to play in the NFL there was only 1 coach they should play for and that is Saban.

Point being the price of greatness is high. Winning ain't easy and winning a Natty is butally hard.

I am beginning to think that Day will not be the next coach to win a natty at OSU.
I mean there’s ways to get there that’s for sure.

If Dabo and Coach O can win one then so can Ryan Day. What he will need though is a good defense plus a generational QB which can be argued that Day already had in 2019.

However if you look at that 2019 LSU season it’s not as awesome as you think. They gave up 38 to Vandy and only scored 23 against Auburn.

We don’t have a generational quarterback but we have a elite defense and skill that’s second to none. If we can get through ND we have a shot.

Oh I do think that most teams that win it all grow into the season. They have a few games were things could have gone wrong. And it is hard to say where this years OSU team will end up. I just honestly think things has been in a bit of a back slide overall since UFM has left. With that said, OSU has one of their top WR all game last year against UG and they win the Natty. I believe that 100%. So it is not like Day has not been close. But if he does not beat the asshats this year I am not sure he survives. Losing 3 in a row will be a tough pill to swallow......even for me a Spartan fan first. I was really enjoying the beatings you guys were laying on those assholes.

Some rumblings he’s interviewing for the Sparty job? Wow would that be a mistake for him.
Mark May has not confirmed this yet. And we all know he has an insider’s pulse in these things:

Twitter reacts to Urban Meyer's unhappiness watching Ohio State

Say what you will about Urban Meyer (and we certainly have), but the man’s success as Ohio State’s head coach was undisputed. His 83-9 record over seven seasons from 2012 through 2018 says a lot.

Meyer was on the sideline for the Buckeyes’ Saturday game against Maryland, and when Ryan Day’s team was down 10-0 in the first quarter before coming back to tie the game, Ohio State’s former head coach didn’t seem too amused about the whole thing.

Some really good comments:

Just sayin': Urban is definitely still an Ohio State fan.

You don't fall out of the brotherhood just because you move. It's eternally in the blood.
