Twenty years ago I’d have agreed with you. I grew up literally in the shadow of the dome, my mom even works on ND’s campus. Thus I feel qualified to say that even though they try to project an image of being a Pius catholic school they are now farther than ever from that ideal than ever.

I agree with that…a lot has changed.

I’m not even referencing the girl in lap incident….the judgement on the strength and conditioning coach he hired at Jax, combined with Zack Smith, combined with reputation from Florida.

I think it’s probably a bit too much for many schools to touch at this point, outside of the SEC and some desperate Big 12 schools…..like OU would hire him on spot if he wanted it. But I don’t see ND doing it. Just my opinion….
