URBAN MEYER AND CHARLIE STRONG APPEAR ON AEW’S DOUBLE OR NOTHING PPV
As you may know, Shahid and Tony Khan, co-owners of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars are also the owners of All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The Jaguars have been making waves this year with Urban Meyer coming on as head coach and the upcoming emergence of the #1 draft pick Trevor Lawrence. Not to mention, Tim Tebow making his return to the NFL, this time at tight end for the first time in his career.
Tonight, Khan’s AEW was holding their annual Double or Nothing PPV event, which was the first to house fans in over a year. The event took place at Daily’s Palace, but the main event was going to be housed out of TIAA Bank Field; home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. This would be AEW’s second Stadium Stampede match, which if you was the first you knew that there would be a lot of surprises tonight.
One that not many would have seen coming, was an appearance by Jaguars coaches Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong. During the main event, Chris Jericho was battling MJF, which led them to the coaches office.

In what has been a year of new beginnings for Urban Meyer, the former three-time national champion college football coach who is now embarking on an NFL coaching career has also recently had an on-air meet up with one of boxing's all-time greats. Meyer, the new coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, appeared on TNT's broadcast of AEW Dynamite in discussion with Mike Tyson.
Tyson had been advertised for the show, and the segment was used to tease the boxer's upcoming brawl with wrestlers.AEW, owned by Tony Khan, broadcasts exclusively from Daily's Place, which is connected to TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
