I'd be willing to wager a substantial sum he'll coach again. NOT THE FUCKING DOMERS, URBAN.
Here is why I think he would be an absolute fool. The brain is affected profoundly by ageing. From the age of 55 and accelerating dramatically by the age of 60, the normal brain experiences physiological changes. These include shrinking of the brain and the increasing incidence of white matter lesions that affect cognitive function. Stress, such as he would experience coaching, impact on the ability to focus attention, concentrate, and make decisions as the midbrain responds to stress hormones and takes over from the prefrontal cortex. Short-term memory also is affected.
Now, add to this the effects of this cyst. He would be an absolute fool. He doesn't need the money and he has grandchildren. I don't see him doing it, no matter how much he would like to do it. If he does, it might end badly. Most certainly, the press would try to rip him apart to get clicks. It isn't worth it.

I learned about this after a fall last year. There is variation in individuals. By the age of 63, it is normal to have 18 white matter lesions. I suppose it is genetics and all the running and cycling over the years, but I had none. The guy in the bed beside me had more than 25. Short-term memory (where are my effing keys?) is affected, but those effects would be very visible when you're having to make decisions in split seconds during a game and remember what plays your opponent usually runs in a particular situation, as opposed to what he has run in those situations in the current game. A 10% decline and Urban Meyer is not Urban Meyer.I'm 58 man. I don't need to know that shit. Or are you saying that by the time I'm 60 I won't remember it? What did I just type?
You know I have a PhD. OK, it's not in medicine, but you could say that a Dr recommended a healthy diet, regular cardiovascular exercise for 30 minutes or longer with an average heart rate of 80% of the max for your age (i.e., 220 minus your age), and lots of sex.
OR...we have a thread for that.
No...Staring at These threadIs it the Zach Smith thread?
