As a neutral observer, and fan of a team who Stinky Pinky terrorized for years (in the very stadium where he's taking massive losses every week now) before his stop in Columbus, I'd guess that 2014 natty and undefeated record in The Game has bought him a lifetime pass for some fans. But that's just my guess.
