Yes, my approvals of certain uniforms are buried in here somewhere. And I do like the USF helmets, particularly the matte one with the metallic logo.

While I'm not blown away by the FSU rebrand, consistency across all sports is something that can be done better in Columbus. The baseball and men's hockey teams in particular have worn some jerseys that are off the reservation in terms of wordmarks. Hockey looks a bit better with the present set but it wasn't long ago they had the lower-case nameplates and wordmark that came straight from MS Word.

It works okay on the collar but is poor on the sleeve. Worse yet they are messing with the best overall uniforms in cfb.

Their road uniforms are unrivaled with solid home unis. Osu might reenter the conversation if they ever wear shiny pants again or competently designed sleeves.

The Illinois uniforms are sharp. The would be well-served to use that badge on the collar as a logo for the helmet and the 50-yard line of their field.

Isn't a part of the uniform's role to connect to the tradition of the school? Like maybe the school's colors? You like copper and black? Fine, change the school colors to copper and black. Otherwise you're saying, "we have no history, no tradition."

I believe whoring ones identity to Nike for obscene amounts of cash has been going on for about 20 years since Nike started pushing Russell and Champion out of the D1 college licensing market.

Basically, it's also now a tradition.
