Uniforms (Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, etc....)

Adidas seems to be in a race with itself to create the world's most offensive uniform...
Oh, they've owned that title for years ...

I'm a Virginia Tech student...and those white helmets are a disgrace. I'm pretty sure the entire student body despises them. Same with the alumni. Would not be surprised if VT ends up kickin these to the curb. Absolutely disgusting lol.

And the ND ones are equally as terrible

If Adidas wasn't filled with so much failure, they would've made Nebraska wear something like this:

But who could've thought of that? It's not like they're known for wearing black shirts.

For fuck's sake will someone please pull the plug on the alternate uniform craze? :shake:

Sadly, it won't happen as long as they can sell these monstrosities to trendy fans.

I imagine the ND fan-base can't be too pleased with these. I actually really liked the unis they wore in last year's scUM game. These are atrocious.

"WE ARE! MD!," chided a message board poster, an obvious reference to the Maryland Terrapins' ketchup-licorice-fried egg swirl collection from its gameday uniform options last season.

"It's compressive," beamed Daniels, adidas' director of team sales, of Notre Dame's special jerseys, designed for the Oct. 6 matchup with Miami (Fla.) in Chicago and unveiled Thursday in the Notre Dame Stadium pressbox.

"You can't grab it. You can't tackle it," he continued. "That's more first downs. That's more touchdowns. That's more wins. We're excited about it."

The feeling was far from universal, though. Some ND fans didn't have any more use for them than they did for a recent column by ESPN.com's Rick Reilly, questioning Irish football relevance in college football's big picture.

The stupid assed helmet is what [censored]s it up royally. If they kept the standard all-gold helmet the uniform wouldn't be all that bad, even though it still wouldn't resemble a Notre Dame uniform....

This. And the fact that they used an overweight man in his 40s instead of an athlete to wear the uni.

OK, Duder had a couple during dinner tonight. But at first (and second) glance I thought the leprechaun was looking backwards--i.e. he was half crazed and drunken with his tongue hanging out the right side of his mouth.....kind of howling at the moon with crazed offset eyes.
