Burning my application packet tonight when I get home. With grammar like that, perhaps UK is a better options for chuckle-[censored]s like myself.

SEC SEC SEC

Go to the best option you have. That's Ohio State. People have a longer commute into the loop from the Chicago suburbs than you'll face on most days.

Go juggalo, and you're fucking dead to us.

I used to live in West Chester, and commuted to Dayton to attend Wright State (I had started attending when I still lived in Huber Heights). After a year it grew really tiresome. If you're going from Cincy to Columbus, you can double the time from what it took me to go from Cincy to Dayton, even if you are living closer to I-71 than I-75.

Also, if you end up looking at local Cincy options, without knowing what you're pursuing you might want to take a look at NKU. Out-of-state tuition for SW Ohio residents is close to the same price as in-state tuition at UC. Plus, it's located just across the river, minutes from downtown but right off 275. Despite being on the other side of the river, it might actually be an easier commute than either UC or Xavier.

Anyway, congrats on the promotion and welcome to the area. Sorry about the two tenths you just lost on your 40 time though.

At least Ohio State will teach you how to spell "pursue" correctly...

and maybe explain that expanding by a factor means multiplying the current presence/fanbase by that factor, not adding.

Unless, of course, you are using factor like the word "element," but that would be unusual in that context.

Montgomery Inn. That's all I'll say.

This as well. Hell, go to Montgomery Inn for the sports memoribilia. They have several large dining rooms covered wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling in autographs, photos, jerseys, footballs, baseballs, etc. A good chunk of it is local, but I'd say about 40% of is national stuff from guys who had passed through as players on road trips.

In my experience peeps who don't like Skyline are a lot like kids who wear TSUN gear in Ohio...they're just trying to stand out by being different than normal folks.

Montgomery Inn is decent but nowhere near the 'GREATEST RIBS EVER' joint the locals want to proclaim it as.

Go there once just to shut everybody up (seriously you'll never hear the end of "You HAVE to go to Montgomery INN!!" until you do)....and then try places like Goodie's in College Hill, Junebug's downtown, BBQ Revue off 71 or Walt's out in Colerain

My personal favorite is 1 of A Kind BBQ in Sharonville and Jim Dandy's just up the road is good too (I used to hit them all the time when they were still operating out of a trailer).

Petey G's across the river in Newport is worth checking out as well.

Not school related, but stay away from Skyline. Don't belive the local hype, it's nothing more than nasty, sweet chili glop on overcooked noodles.

I really thought about dinging you for that.

On topic: Despite what others have said, when I make the commute from Loveland to campus, it only takes me 1 hour 15 minutes or max 1 1/2 hours. Also, I very rarely see cops on 71.

Go to OSU, you will not regret it.
