UF on the ropes vs. Vandy

Did anyone see where Noah and Vandy's coach got into it a little bit? So the ball bounces out of bounds and Vandy's coach catches it. It is Florida's ball, and Noah is going to in bound it. Noah tries to reach around Vandy's coach to take the ball out of his hands, and Vandy's coach slaps Noah's arms away. Noah incredulously looks at the ref, who doesn't do anything, so Noah tries to rip the ball from Vandy's coach again.

My thoughts:
1) Noah overstepped his bounds by trying to take the ball out of Vandy's coach's hands the first time. Often in basketball, the ball will bounce into a coach's hands, and he will hold onto the ball while he tries to talk to the refs, as Vandy's coach was doing. Noah trying to take the ball out of his hands the first time showed a lack of respect IMO.
2) Vandy's coach overreacted by slapping Noah's arms away. He should've just shielded Noah from the ball with his body.
3) Noah really acted like a punk the second time he tried to take the ball away. It was like he thought he should've gotten it the first time, felt disrespected by the coach for slapping his arms away, and wasn't going to let the coach get away with it.

Thoughts on this?

well IMO there seems to be no sure fire candidate to end up N01 after the tourney. All of the "leaders " have shown a penchant to lose some games. How many per each team only time will tell. But hey, in the meantime if the Bucks get ranked N01 then so be.
At this point in time I feel ok in saying they deserve it as much as the next team until they are beaten. I don't even care much what seed we get in the Dance, only how far we go.

O-H

It all depends on our next game vs. Wisconsin.

First off, I-O

Florida still will get a #1 and the winner of OSU/Wisky will also get one. UNC seems to be a lock based on name alone, they keep losing but you wouldn't know it by watching ESPN. After that it is all up for grabs anymore, watch out for memphis, they are on fire as of late.

didn't see it, but sounds like delay of game on the coach. if i were noah and trying to get the ball in bounds i'd be pissed too.

It's hard to say right now who will be the #1 seeds the way teams keep losing. Im sure Fla will get one as will the Bucks/wisc winner (US) and NC as well. the fourth would be between Wisc, Ucla, Pitts. or A and M even. It just depends on who wins and who loses.

wouldn't it be possible for UW and tOSU to get a 1 seed? we beat them at home and then they win the big10 tourney. a few others would need to lose, but it's a definite possibility

Agreed, but they would have to be two close games in which we win at home, and either we win the BIG10 Championship and and teams behind us lose their respective conferences, or they win the BIG10 Championship in a close game and one or two teams don't win their conference behind us. It is also possible that the seeds will be selected prior the game championship game anyways, so who knows. Basically, our regular season game vs. Wisconsin will/should be the deciding factor.

supposedly, conference tourneys are only supposed to help you. if you go into your tourney with a 1 seed you aren't supposed to lose it becuase of a bad game.

Agreed, I was just saying that there is a possibility other teams lose in their championship game.
