Still fortitudinous
Did anyone see where Noah and Vandy's coach got into it a little bit? So the ball bounces out of bounds and Vandy's coach catches it. It is Florida's ball, and Noah is going to in bound it. Noah tries to reach around Vandy's coach to take the ball out of his hands, and Vandy's coach slaps Noah's arms away. Noah incredulously looks at the ref, who doesn't do anything, so Noah tries to rip the ball from Vandy's coach again.
My thoughts:
1) Noah overstepped his bounds by trying to take the ball out of Vandy's coach's hands the first time. Often in basketball, the ball will bounce into a coach's hands, and he will hold onto the ball while he tries to talk to the refs, as Vandy's coach was doing. Noah trying to take the ball out of his hands the first time showed a lack of respect IMO.
2) Vandy's coach overreacted by slapping Noah's arms away. He should've just shielded Noah from the ball with his body.
3) Noah really acted like a punk the second time he tried to take the ball away. It was like he thought he should've gotten it the first time, felt disrespected by the coach for slapping his arms away, and wasn't going to let the coach get away with it.
