UF OL Ronnie "Taz" Wilson (official thread)

As a Gator fan I have heard some great things about Ronnie. Hopefully you can bust your butt in class and in the weight room. Work hard in the winter and you can be our starting Guard. I am sure you know the opportunity you have for PT next year. We need you out there big guy...Good Luck and Beat Iowa!!

Don't listen to him Taz. Better transfer to Ohio State now!

Good luck in your bowl game. We'll all hope that you have a great game.

"You're losing four seniors," Coach Urban Meyer said, "so depth is a real concern."

Meyer seems confident that some support will come from Ronnie Wilson. At 6 feet 4 and heavier than the 310 pounds at which he started the season, he redshirted this campaign. Wilson impressed in practice at guard and center, and Meyer and offensive line coach John Hevesy said they fought a temptation to play him. Monday, Meyer seemed pleased with his decision despite Wilson's progress.

"It's all starting to click for Ronnie," Butler said. "He's getting better, and he's going to be a great player here."

I might have used up that red shirt if I was them... Florida needed you in those last couple games... without knowing you redshirted, I have been watching games yelling "damn... put Wilson in there..." and wondered why it was only obvious to me and not them... now I know

Taz...I think it's safe to say that, as Buckeye fans, you'll forever be "the one that got away". As friends, however, we're just plain proud of what you have accomplished and the great things you are going to do down at Florida. You seem to have found your niche and are going to be a heck of a player. Sounds like the coach is singing your praise!

Just continue to show the work ethic and values that we all can tell you've been brought up with, and everything will work out! Ma and Pa Taz have got to be extremely proud!

Beat Iowa!
