I think technically Taz can get out of it...he hasn't signed a grant-in-aid, not till 2/5...

Come on, guys...what would you think if a commit and early enrollee to Ohio State all of a sudden jumped ship and went somewhere else? You'd be screaming bloody murder. Taz wanted to play for us, but the staff didn't give him the offer, so it's done, over, finished, viola, kaput, pau, owari. Let him do his best for the team that most wanted him...

Only a very small amount of redtape to get out of UF and come here. But... would you, after tOSU offered you then pulled it off the table? Then after someone else decommits they come knocking on your door. Should have given the scholly to the guy that really wanted it in the first place.

Saying all that.... Like I said, only a very small amount of redtape to get out of UF and come here. I guess we'll see how bad Ronnie wants to be a Buckeye.

My thought was from what I recalled about Donte Whitner/Youbouty enrolling early at OSU...they started school but had to wait until signing day to make it official by signing the documents for the scholarships...maybe the rule changed or maybe it was an OSU protocol...

im embarrassed by the people who even entertained the idea of Taz leaving florida and coming here.

Good luck Taz. How's the 2 deep looking at OL? should I be making an effort to see all Florida games this year?

Taz,

I am of the opinion that everything happens for a reason. As much as I would love for you to play for OSU, by going to UF you are close to your family and you are still going to a quality university and a program that is currently free of the kind of distractions we are going through here.

I would almost always recommend Ohio State to any recruit because of all the tradition, fan support and just my love for the University. Every once in a great while, however, there is a recruit (Dennis Kennedy, You) that makes us all sit back and hope that you are able to stick it to us a little.

You are great individual and you will be part of some great teams at Florida. You are there for a reason and I believe that, as happy as you would have been here...you will be just as happy there, if not more, because you can be close to your wonderful family. I would like to think that no one here would even insinuate that you rethink your decision based on the recent events.

I, for one, am satisfied with the thought that you are going to be a spectacular player for the Gators and that you will come around here and share some of your experiences with us. Stay well and God bless!

...Does anyone else think that this is the greatest thread ever?
