UF OL Ronnie "Taz" Wilson (official thread)

Taz said:
Hello everyone.
This is Taz's dad. I have been reading all of the great comments you guys on this site have been making about my son. Both he and his family appreciates all the support and love you guys have shown. Please forgive me if I sound a little bit bitter. I am very proud of my son and all of his accomplishments, and to keep hearing all of this stuff about not being offered has really rubbed me the wrong way. My son is a very hard working and talented kid who has numerous offers from numerous institutes. And for some guy on some website (Halagen) to make negative comments and pretty much calling my son a liar about being offered really upset me. As I said, he has lots of offers and I feel that he is too talented and too inteligent to have to lie or beg any particular institute for an offer. So I am posting a copy of his offer so that all of his freinds on this site will know that he has been truthful, and have nothing but love for you guys. I hope this copy goes thru okay.
Once again thanks for all of your support.

Ronnie Sr.

Thanks Ronnie Sr. There is a reason that Clarity started this site:that other site is full of bs. Believe me, this site more than mirrors what Buckeye fans want: Taz Jr as a Buckeye. We always need big, strong, tough o-lineman. Plus, we already know Taz looks great in Scarlett and Gray. tOSU is the only place for TAZ !!!!! :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu: :osu:

Mr. Wilson & Taz,
Don't let the irresponsible comments of a few reflect the feelings of the whole Buckeye Nation. The overall feeling of Ohio State fans and coaches feel that Taz is a class act and one heck of a great talent. He is still high on the recruiting boards but it's just the timing at this point in time of the recruiting rat race that's always slow and frustrating; be patient. If you look at the recruiting boards and the recent history of Ohio States' Offensive line then you will see that OSU is definitely in need of recruiting aggressive and skilled linemen. If I have ever seen one ... Taz fits the bill and is needed at Ohio State. I for one can't wait too see him running out onto the field and seeing him pancake a few Buckeye opponents.
Be patient, we're all here hoping soon that you'll be a Buckeye!!!

Mr. Wilson, as a father of two grown-up kids myself I can clearly understand your being upset with the comments of Helwagen. Please rest assured that he is in no way affiliated with this site. All of us here at Buckeye Planet, along with many, many other Buckeye fans, want very much for your son to come play for the Scarlet and Gray. Regardless if things work out for Taz to come play for Ohio State or not, you and your son will always be considered a part of our Buckeye family here.

We love Ronny

I am doing everything I can do put some pressure on Helewagon to give you a call because what he said was innapropriate. We all hope Ronny has his offer and your statements sure made me feel better about it. Just one question, how are we supposed to see the offer or did it just not show up on my computer? Can anyone explain to me please.

Anyways congrats to Ronny on the offer and hopefully on being a Buckeye!

Sr. & Jr.,

Never let some dipsh-t effect your dreams or desire. I don't even know who Helwegan is and damn sure don't care. But I know my school and my people, I can promise you that we already know Taz is a key to our future, that's a huge portion for all the love he gets here, we all know he's the real deal. Helfagen or whatever his name is, is a complete non-factor in the story. The Wilson's are already a part of the family, commitment or not. Ohio State is a super school with alumni all over the country, looking out for one another, our family runs wide and deep. We really look forward following Jr. and I hope very much we watch that future in Scarlet and Gray.

God Bless,

HB

I have had my fingers crossed for so long now, in hopes of seeing Taz end up in the Scarlet and Grey next year, that I think they've melted together ...

However, I do think it is important to point out that it was the very opinionated and anonymous "Mr. Bucknuts", and NOT Steve Helwagen, who wrote the article that offended Taz and Mr. Wilson (senior). It was in his "Bucket of Bullets" column posted on November 21, and I've posted the link for any of you who have the Scout/Bucknuts subscriber status.

Mr. Wilson.....thank you for coming to this board. Everything about your family speaks of class, hard-work and dedication. And having HelpingHand around is a great asset as we having nothing but the utmost respect for his efforts.

To add just a bit to what MilianiBuckeye said above. Not only is Mr.Bucknuts and that entire site not affiliated with this site, they are in NO way affiliated with the coaching staff at the Ohio State University. Mr.Bucknuts, is, simply, one desperate....misguided individual who happens to think he "knows" what's going on because he reads recruiting boards.

May your family have a safe and loving holiday season.....and get to work.....your son is going to college in a little over a month !!!!

Ronnie Sr.,
I had the pleasure meeting your Son at the OSU football camp back in June and let me say Ronnie is one fine young man. He took the time to speak to my 13 yr. old Son and give him some incouragement about what hard work it takes to get to the next level. I'll never forget your Son. Please pass on my best wishes and let him know we as a family are praying for him and his future. Mr. Wilson you're one great father for rasing a fine young man as Ronnie. We need more Dad's like you in this world.
God Bless you and your family!

Bucknuts is aware of the situation and Halwegen has made the author of those comments aware also. I hope that he has the BuckNUTS to give Mr TAZ an appology.

BTW, they locked the thread so I couldn't bust his stones any more.
