UF OL Ronnie "Taz" Wilson (official thread)

My oh my can you imagine this class of Offensive linemen coming in, when Taz comes to town to be a Buckeye !?!
It will be Boone, Cordle, Bemoll, possibly Doering, and TAZ anchoring up the line. That has got to be one of the best recruiting O-line classes out there.
Taz will be following in the footsteps of legends like Kory Stringer, Orlando Pace, John Hicks, Jim Lachey and countless others. Then to top it off he'll be blocking for one of the top QB of '05 recruiting - Rob Shoenhoft. You can't leave out the possibility of CJ Jackson too. Whew, Rob is going to love the protection he gets from this bunch of wild Buckeye nuts of an offensive line. Then too boot TAZ is going to have the HUGE possibility of blocking for some of the best RB's in the country with Maurice Wells, Jonathan Stewart, and Javon Ringer all wanting to be Buckeyes ... I mean HOT DAMN thats a class to look at and say WOW !! How could you not get excited !?! Anybody in there right mind (even a FL fan :) ) would want to be a part of that OSU recruiting class .... Bar-none the BUCKEYES are going to have alot of exciting days of football too come with this '05 recruiting class. Especially if/when TAZ comes to put on a Scarlet and Grey uniform and runs threw the famed tunnel at the "Shoe" and hears all those screaming, proud, loud wonderful Buckeye faithful. It gives me goosebumps just thinking of all the fun and excitement.
GO BUCKEYES !!!

according to both HH and duane long, only 1 more offensive lineman will be taken. personally, i don't see how you could pass either one of these guys up if they both wanted to come here, considering our pitiful o-line, but i'm sure the coaches have their reasons.

When it comes down to crunch time and if there isn't a scholarship that is needed for another position, I'd be shocked if the coaches turned down either Wilson or Doering. I don't know JT's recruiting system, but I just can't see turning one of these guys away either.

there is absolutely no way the coaches turn down either of these two fine young men...

as to florida.....all i can say is ron zook.....there should be no way that a top recruit would go play for a coach that is ruining talent and will not be around much longer....

if i am a top offensive lineman i would look long and hard at the history of buckeye lineman in the sunday leauge and would be happy knowing i have security that my coach is going to be around for a long time....

if you dont believe me ask bill parcells....he said something along these lines last april...."ohio state players come out ready to play in the nfl...".....

thats all you need to know...

I wish it was the simple NJ.....

TAZ, has made it up to Pitt for his visit. I hope he has a great time. I personally think Pitt is a great city, and the program is so tied to the steelers, I hope he enjoys it!

HH,

You always make me think way too much. Although, I definitely appreciate your thoughts.

I think that I hear what your trying to say though. That is if your trying to "say" anything at all......

HH,

What are you saying? Not only is Pittsburgh in dire financial shape (their muni rating is junk), but Tibor lives there. What else is there to say?

Actually, thanks for the continued updates. Always nice to have some extra insight.

Taz,

Please come to OSU! We need lineman that can pass block, and open holes!!

I second this, Taz if by some chance you had the opportunity to see todays OSU game then it is blatenly obvious that we need o-line help. A stud o-lineman like yourself could step right in from day 1 and compete for a starting spot. Lord knows we need all the o-line help we can get right now.

It sounds like Taz had a good visit to Pitt and his next visit will be at tOSU. Taz is not sure if he will take a fifth and final visit after tOSU.

He is still on track to make a decision by the end of November for early enrollment in January.

Taz plays guard at ELY but thinks he could play guard or tackle in college.
