Some people have more raw strength, others more muscle endurance - I don't know if you can draw an accurate correlation between the two.If the kid benches 430, there is no way he only gets 19 reps at 185. Those numbers just don't correlate with each other.
Agreed, but those are two very different figures even considering endurance vs power. Also, he could have actually put the weight up 30 times...but you have to use the correct technique, or the rep isn't counted. It's not unheard of to have as many as 40% of your reps deducted as a result of improper form.BTW, he claims that he is beching 360, not 430 - that should clear up some of the "strength vs. endurance" questions from a few days ago.
