Grant Wahl of SI doesn't seem to like the idea of a 24-team tournament, but I've never seen someone who expands go back and contract (unless forced to).

"Ireland deserves plenty of credit just for qualifying for Euro 2012, and no fan support in the world is more fun than the Green Army, a friendly group that has traveled to Poland in huge numbers..."

Indeed! I used to live in Minneapolis for work and through the alumni club there a alum from Dublin who got to know a local Irish music group. He got me into it as well (I'm part Irish) and I love hearing it from the Irish Nation Team fans as well as the Celtic fans against the Rangers.

That's some of the hardest rain I've ever seen. It's going to be Turkey-Switzerland from Euro '08 all over again with the field turning into a bog. I'll never forget the opening goal of that game. The Swiss player was waiting at the far post for a tap in and the pass that was meant for him just completely stopped in a puddle in front of net.

At least the picture didn't go out like in 2008

ESPN had to go back to studio and just sit there, remember, when lightning struck the transformer (the game was still playing). Although, in 2008, ESPN had Andy Gray and he was kind of entertaining.

During the Germany-Turkey semi-final no less. We didn't even get to see the Semih Senturk equalizer. I miss Andy Gray to be honest. Him and Martin Tyler were the best English commentary duo in the game.
