I would be banging my head against a wall if I was a UCLA fan, because that is a painfully inconsistent team. They had the same issue last season. They derail USC's MNC hopes and then they get pounded by a mediocre FSU team in their bowl game. Their offense is dominant at times, as is their defense, but they can't seem to string together performances. I thought they were overrated, but the margin here is pretty stunning.

Does this mean the Pac 10 stinks?

Does Oklahoma State and Texas struggling mean the Big 12 stinks?

Does the Auburn performances mean the SEC stinks (by the way there hasn't been a more overrated team in college football since they got jobbed out of the MNC game a few years ago).

Does Virginia, Miami, and NC St. mean the ACC stinks.

I think there's somewhat of a double standard amongst the public. The Big Ten is getting a disproportionate amount of criticism. The fact of the matter is that there's increased parity in college football right now, and I think that's partially as a result of innovations to offenses, while the powers that be have been satisfied to remain stagnant because it has brought success in the past.
