Yeah, I just saw the score on this, you gotta be kidding me, people were talking about UCLA going to the Rose Bowl this year. The local sports station here, Extra Sports 570, is the UCLA station. On Friday they were talking about how much the Bucks were over-rated at spot 10 and that UCLA deserved to be the top 10, can't wait to hear their thoughts on monday :biggrin:

I listen to 570 AM radio all day at work, it's the UCLA station and the hype that team got prior to this season was out of control. It came across like because of the upset of USC last year they felt that they were as good or better than USC.

UCLA has had, what, one really good season since Aikman left? Back when McNown was there. They've had other decent years, but only that one where they were in the national spotight that I can recall. They're the MSU to USC's scUM. Maybe that's not that great an example right now though.:lol:

UCLA will not spend the money needed to keep up with the Jones'. I spoke with a parent at a recent recruiting camp, who had visited all of the major players (LSU, Tenn, Texas, OSU, USC, etc), and he was shocked at how mediocre the facilities were at UCLA. He was told they simply choose not spend that kind of money.

UT-aTm (complete with the upset last year and the drubbing the last game) or OU-OSU maybe.

That Utah-UCLA game gives me some hope that the Cougs may be able to pick up another conference win beside perhaps Stanford! Maybe it's that powder blue that makes UCLA so soft?
