I agree. My issue was with the statement that TOP is insignificant when you can score in 4 plays. If we were guaranteed to score in 4 plays, then sure it's valid. But eventually we'll punt and sometimes there will be some stops just due to mistakes or whatever.

Seriously dismissing TOP is not smart....however, it's the ability to score while controlling TOP that's important. I don't think they'll be able to score regularly enough to control TOP and still win. I predict quite a few 3 and outs because if there's anything our defense is stout on....it's the running game.

Do they play defense? If Ohio State can play the level of defense that we're used to and score as quick as Oregon, TOP won't matter.

But I wasn't even speaking about the whole season, really. Just this game. From seeing them in the Akron game, they don't stand a chance if the offense puts the pedal to the metal.
