Also going to lead in missed tackles too. He'll be a very good one but right now I wouldn't count on him being a top LB in the big ten.

Big Hank right now is about the only one on defense pulling his own weight.

But we're not Iowa. For Ohio State, it really can't get much worse. Part of the reason I am so pissed is because I can handle no offense, running Dave every play, etc etc as long as we won the game and played Ohio State defense.

Our defense has always defined us, and for it to be this fucking bad is revolting. I am actually almost nauseous considering how badly we played. I don't care if we have Tom Brady at qb, if we play defense like that we're not winning anything.

Maybe. But like someone said once (it may have been Tibor) an ugly win is better than a pretty loss.

But I hear what you are saying. They MUST play better if they want to compete in the BIG

fuck yes man. We wan't to sputter on offense fine, but giving up multiple 10+ yard plays absolutely kills.

I won't buy anymore coach speak through the week about "we'll fix this" or "we'll work on this" I'm just going to accept that our defense is flawed in many ways and that at this point we just need to limit the damage.

Just all the way around it's not good. Players in the back 7 I believe aren't up to OSU standard and the coaching right now isn't up to OSU standard. Blame is all around.

The offense really needs to show up for longer than half a quarter if this team wants to get anywhere.

As far as the defense, well, I don't expect them to play lights out when they are on the field for so long. We already knew this defense is going through some rebuilding pains, although I must admit they seem to be worse than I thought.

It's time for Braxton to step up in the passing game.

Actually Ohio State is looking very much like iowa. Were only ohio state by name, not talent this year bud. Offense isnt tenacious, defense is a roller coaster.

This team needs to cut out the brain farts they have on both sides of the ball. I can't say I'd be completely happy about it, but maybe this team will decide to play it's best in the Big BIG games this season.

Regardless of what happens...the free 5-7 yard outs have got to stop. If someone would mind cuing up the video from training days where Coach TC seems to say it's okay for them to make that catch...feel free.

Large reason they are on field so long is they can't get people down. Go back to first quarter and watch them blown tackle after tackle on third downs. If they want off the field, they need to make a play every now and then.
