Game Thread UAB Blazers at tOSU - Sep 22, Noon ET, BTN

So, I don't understand how the tackling can be this bad. Either the coaches aren't stressing the importance of fundamentals, or the players are just ignoring them, in which case, the coaches need to send a message. This is on the coaches.

Yeah but there's no guarantee he makes it even if 100% totally healthy.

You know, tackling is as much a mental thing as it is a physical thing. You have to want to plant the guy into the ground, wrap him up and put him down. So far I've seen a ton of reaching, no one breaking down and stopping the guy and a lot of guys trying to make the quick tackles instead of holding on and waiting for the cavalry to get there.

It could be they are being too overly-aggressive, but it could also be some laziness or something along those lines.
