38-24 OSU. I hate to make that pick and hope I'm wrong, but I'm making a realistic pick. As much as I'd like to win, I'm just hoping for no injuries and a team that still has confidence and is hungry going to the Tulsa game.

Realistic? Wow that's damn near PSU realistic right there.

RE: Predictions for OSU?

If we play like we did in the first half against the cocks and we dont have home cooking from the refs i think it wil be a close game. The boys gained a lot of confidence last week and the fact that they were blown out showed them you cant let up. I predict 31-27 good guys.

Yeah, what was the final score of that game???? It was even close as USC killed them by 40+ points if I remember correctly.

Who wants to point out to them that they lost by 10 to Troy?

Probably the same person what will mention transitive property does not apply to college football.

Miami (OH) beat Army 35-28
Army beat Northwestern 21-14
Northwestern beat Nebraska 28-25
Nebraska beat Ohio State 34-27
therefore last year, Miami (OH) would have beaten us.

Miami was competitive in most of their games last year, they might very well have beaten Ohio State depending on the week they played. If you want me to offer more reasoning...UAB is as close to a program can get to actually being a red-headed step-child whose team ranks in the triple digits in most meaningful statistics...including the only two that really matter, scoring offense (108: 17.5 points per game) and scoring defense (120: 44 points per game). UCF and Cal could realistically talk about pulling an upset...UAB is cannon fodder.

UAB would have beaten us last year too by transitive property
