Anyone trashing Beasley doesn't quite understand just how important he was for the national team. His presence (or lack of) is still felt today. He was a perfect compliment to any back line because he knew when to move forward in attack, while also knowing when to fall back to prevent counters.Because...
And that's the whole thing, I actually got in an argument with 2 of my boys last night trashing Beasley, but, my immediate response was Jonathan Bornstein. Long story short, Cameron's their best pairing with Brooks, and Klinsmann for right or wrong is going to find guys who can counter attack on the outside. So, guys that are interchangeable on the wing... kind of... it is what it is.
