U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

"You could put Cristiano Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, and Leo Messi on the US and I'm not sure it would have made much of a difference.."

So, a guy who scored a wicked free kick, a guy who scores basically a goal a game, and a guy who stretches defenses with his pace and dribbling wouldn't have made a difference? This is why it's so difficult to respect you, LD.
Next is "You could put Godin, Boateng, Thiago Silva, and Sergio Ramos back there, and it would make no difference on defense"

 Right. Let's look at who those players would have replaced. Wondo (useless tonight), Zusi (virtually useless playing next to Mr. Dumpster Juice Bradley), and Dempsey (virtually useless playing in front of Mr Dumpster Juice).

Those three superstars would go out of their way to keep the ball away from Bradley. That's how much better they are than the three listed above.

I've been hearing about him since the WC and I've yet to see what the fuss is about. I'm guessing he does okay in Minor League Soccer but that's like League I in England.

He plays with Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore in Toronto, and they STILL can't win a playoff game. How he ever made it onto AS Roma's roster a few years back is beyond me.
