I recommend anyone who didnt get to see it, see if you can get a highlight of that free kick. I'm not sure one has ever been better than that, maybe though because I don't see games not involving the US, Liverpool or Ohio State. My opinion it was absolutely perfect and everyone who has ever played dreams of that kind of shot. Beautiful

Uh oh Figs is coming in at 79 minute mark. I'd promise he gets a shot on goal but my luck has been crap lately.

EDIT: Promise would have been fulfilled. Shot went wide from a Canadian deflection.

LOL, Figs nets one to win it in the final seconds 2-0 US over Canada.

The kid is so good. His goal was more the perfect pass through the box but he is always where he needs to be to score. 7 goals now for him and the Golden Boot will hinge on he and a guy from Mexico both tied in goals and assists

Sunday night final Yanks vs El Tri! Doesn't get better than that.

I figured 0 updates meant we lost. Found a replay and did a ff watch. The pk was lame, but that header off the short corner was filthy.

Figueroa plowing through the Mexico defense to set up the goal on the corner was crazy good.

US Soccer released the findings of a 3rd party investigation into Berhalter/Reyna.

If the Reyna’s thought they were going to overpower US Soccer and come out looking good (and Berhalter bad), they completely misplayed that.

Essentially left to hang themselves with their own rope. US Soccer had no problems airing their dirty laundry and throwing them under the bus.

Soccer parent culture at it’s worst.
