Costa Rica’s average age for their roster is like 31. They have no shot at scoring 3 goals, let alone 6, while shutting the US out. It just ain’t happening. The US could play their C team, and still walk away from that game with a 1-1 draw.

That would be the most un-American thing in history.

I'd sit Pulisic tonight, at least the first half, and give Reyna the start with Pepi and Weah. Anyone on a yellow probably should be kept back except for emergencies.

I agree 100%. It would be a total embarrassment, and the USMNT would lose support. Unfortunately, there is at least 1 moron who gets paid to write about it that thinks a forfeit is a good idea. Andrew Joseph writing for USA Today Sports. What an ass.

Yeah, my phone fucks me everytime. :shake:

I mean, if there's that much legitmate worry that someone gets hurt or the impossible could happen, adjust the roster accordingly. Play the bench guys hell most of em could use the minutes anyway, but fucks sake DO NOT Forfeit.

I’d like to see some guys like De La Torre (to a lesser extent since he’s already getting quality minutes), Gianluca Busio, Jordan Pefok, Erik Palmer-Brown, Aaron Long, get some minutes tonight. Obviously mix in some solidified starters, but these guys getting minutes could prove to be huge if something were to happen to Robinson, Zimmerman, Adams, etc.
