U.S. Army All-American Bowl (Sat 1/7 @ 1pET on NBC)

Just found this on 11W(305Buck was the poster):
I will say based on what i have been seeing and reading:

Myers - stock down, a freak physically but needs a lot of work in pass protection and hasn't looked as dominant as he has in the past in run protection.

Davis - stock down a little, hasn't been bad but hasn't been wowing either.

Okudah - stock steady, already a top 10 player in the country, kid has shown that he has the hips, technique, speed and feet to be an elite corner.

Wade - stock steady, had a huge Senior year but needs work on his technique. Could see him being a Hooker type Safety before he's a corner.

Holmes - stock steady, an elite athlete but his height has been a liability at corner during the week. He could be a dangerous slot WR and a great Nickel corner but I don't see him as a boundary or field corner.

Young - stock up, college ready body at 6'5 250 and still growing, elite first step, speed and hand technique. Everyone already knew that he could rush the passer, he has shown that he could stop the run this week as well.

Martell - stock up, if it wasn't for his height he would be the #1 QB in the country and a top 15 player. Elite accuracy, touch, isn't lacking arm strength at all and gets better the more he plays. Has shown that he can make things happen when the pocket breaks down and make all of the throws while on the move.

Tufele - stock up, kid has been one of the most, if not the most dominant defensive lineman all week. Unblockable with his first step/speed after the snap and has the strength to bullrush guards and centers. Has the frame at 6'3 287 to add more good muscle as well.

Browning - stock steady, only because he's already a top 10 player in the country like Okudah. He has shown that he has the speed and ability to cover the fastest runningbacks out of the backfield as well as tight ends, can plug the hole, shed blockers, is a freak athletically, there's nothing this kid can't do.
Interesting takes and quite honest.

Very fair. Martell struggled some today...was uncharacteristically inaccurate. Might have him as steady but agree with the rest. Some of these guys like Okudah and Browning are wowing people but they should be based on where they are ranked.

OL notoriously struggle in these settings. Myers has the tools but doesn't trust them. Davis seems to have settled in a bit. Walker Little is one guy that seems to be dominating in all facets of OL play.

Surprised he thinks Young has "an elite first step" when that has basically been his worst attribute. It won't be after he gets here for sure but it typically has him standing up too much.

Myers and Davis news isnt really that new, they don't pass the ball much and aren't used to the proper kick step and techniques. They'll be just fine.

So this Buckeye class for 2017 is looking pretty good, it's nice that they're finally getting some recognition 8D

Baron Browning:
Where Phillips had a strong day as an attacking defender, Browning was particularly impressive securing the back end of the defense. Once team scrimmages got underway, he had one pass breakup in red zone work and afterwards hit the dirt to scoop up a busted pass for an interception. In addition to the plays he made on the ball, he was quick to close down on receivers catching screens and swing passes into the flats.
Chase Young:
Young has been the defensive end on the East team who has shown the most consistency getting to the passer this week. The Ohio State commit claims he is inching toward 250 pounds, but he looks closer to the 6-foot-5, 220 pounds he is listed. And while he is definitely a weakside defensive end, Thursday he proved once again to be more than sufficient in the strength department, throwing offensive lineman D’Antne Demery backwards.
Wyatt Davis:
Davis was one of the more fun players to watch in practice, as he spent the morning working primarily in power-run packages calling for him to pull and bulldoze paths for runners. Davis was assertive finding his first target and finished on every block. The West offense had success running read-option plays, which favored Davis’ downhill style, in the team scrimmage session.

Dream scenario: during game and post analysis everyone is gushing about how loaded the Buckeyes class is due to the stud plays made durIng the game, on defense in particular as we represent well in this game. Wilson and/or Tufele feel compelled to join the pack in the coming days/weeks as they know how dominate the D can be. If Holmes heads elsewhere, Sheffield too reflects on this and he wants some of the juice and joins as well.
