TX DE Solomon Thomas (Stanford Signee)

Having guys like Diesel, Joey bosa, Dylan Thompson and hopefully Thomas, will greatly benefit our D line with their versatility to play inside and outside. I'm sure all will eventually find a true position, but can still play another when need be.

Absolutely. I'm not too worried about our interior DL with guys like Hill on the interior. We have a load of DL talent, it will all work out.

He's

On the offensive line right now. I'm not sure if that will stay permanent.

And if it does, we still have hill, carter, schutt, munger and sprinkle(I believe he'll grow into a DT) to go with Bennett and hale. That's some good depth at DT. Not to mention having price and Farris in a pinch.

247 $ - Army Bowl: Thomas Talks Finalists

12/29

By Wiltfong.....Down to Arkansas, Ohio State, Stanford, Texas & UCLA and talks about the pros and cons of each. Really likes Coach Meyer & Coach Vrabel, but wants to hang with the rest of the team on his visit & see how they are.

It is hard to read TX DL Solomon Thomas. He has been spending time with OSU recruits but also Stanford guys as well. I asked a Stanford commit where he thought Thomas was leaning and he said he did not know. Thomas visits OSU on Jan 31 with Malik McDowell and says he will decide on National Signing Day. I think it is between Stanford and Ohio State.

Thomas had some strong feelings on Mack Brown and did not feel he should have been forced out of Texas. Seemed very emotional when the subject came up and clearly has a connection with Brown. Texas is still in his top 5.
