Staying in the state of Texas, Ohio State offered '15 ATH DeAndre McNeal. McNeal is teammates with five-star '15 LB Malik Jefferson, who is also being recruited by the Buckeyes. By double-dipping into the same team, perhaps Ohio State is hoping to get an edge on one or the other. McNeal can play multiple positions, including outside linebacker and tight end.

McNeal has seen a couple of major programs offer him in the past few weeks, including Alabama, UCLA, and Iowa. There isn't one particular school standing out to McNeal at this time, but with the recent surge of offers from top programs, I'd imagine that will change soon enough.

Not a bad comparison but I think Noah probably stays at WR whereas I've heard it mentioned this kid could end up at LB or possibly TE/H-back. I could see him being a Stoneburner-esque TE...playing around 6-2 240 lbs. This kid absolutely tore it up at camp at both WR and LB. Doesn't fix the TE recruiting problem @RB07OSU has mentioned but might be a viable solution until they can go after Hausmann and Farrell next year.

+1, I think Meyer can manage on offense without a true blocking TE for the (hopefully brief) amount of time it will take to bring the '16 guys onto the field.

Until then, it looks like McNeal is the type of versatile playmaker that can thrive in the system.
