TV Shows - Need something new..

Modern Family is great, definitely start watching this season and catch up with the last one.

Just saw an episode of Boardwalk Empire tonight, looked pretty good from what I saw.

I've given Sunny more than it's fair chance, it just isn't funny. It's probably the most overrated comedy on TV right now, people make it out to be the funniest thing since Seinfeld when in reality its basically 30 minutes of mind-numbingly retarded humor.

Sunny hasn't been the same since season 3... the first 3 season were fantastic... better than Seinfeld, IMHO but it fell off fast... for me there's still one or two great episodes every season but as whole it's really lacking. The last really funny one for me was "The Gang Wrestles for the Troops " with Roddy Piper...

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

I'm loving this series. I gave it a try since it's "instant" on netflix. Halfway through the season finale and it might be in my all-time top 5 TV series.

It sucks that the Spartacus character got some form of cancer and they have to find a replacement for season 2. He seemed perfect for the role.

In case you are interested they have a prequel to season one that started on Friday. I haven't had a chance to watch the first episode yet. From what I've heard it's all the same characters from season one and they filmed it when the the main guy was recovering from cancer the first time. Hopefully the new guy does a good job once they get around to filming season 2.

'Community' continues to solidify it's case as the best comedy since 'Arrested Development', IMO. The last episode was simply amazing, particularly Theo Huxstable's appearance with a nod to Bill Cosby's loud sweaters. "Where did you get that sweater?", "Oh, my dad gave it to me."

I agree. Community is still good the second time you watch it, just like Development.

Parks and Recreation is also back, it was really good last week.

Beyond Scared Straight. If you want to watch a bunch of smartass punks get scared shitless by murderers and armed robbers in prison, this is the show for you! The female cons are scarier than the male cons!

You should check out "Girls Gone Wild" on HDNet
You should also check out "Get Out Unrated" on HDNet
You should also check out "Art Mann Presents Unrated" on HDNet
You should also check out "Bikini Destinations" on HDNet
You should also check out "Bikini All-Stars" on MavTV

Those will spice up a boring television routine.

I read about that but didn't know it was starting, thanks. I don't have starz with my cable but I just realized that you can watch starz on netflix as the episodes come out. Pretty cool..

have you checked out the UK version of The Office? i watched it when I was living in the UK. It's pretty funny. A little dryer on the humor than the US version, but I liked it. It's short, only two "seasons" which they call "series" and then culminated with a 90 minute Christmas series finale. It's interesting to watch because the first couple episodes are basically the same as the US version. It's actually vice versa because the UK version was first.

also, Extras is hilarious. It was on HBO. Ricky Gervaise again.
