Also just got into Dexter about a month ago, so I'm playing catch-up. Love the show.

It's actually vice versa because the US version was first.

The UK version came out in 2001-02...it was about 3-4 years before the US version.

'Community' continues to solidify it's case as the best comedy since 'Arrested Development', IMO. The last episode was simply amazing, particularly Theo Huxstable's appearance with a nod to Bill Cosby's loud sweaters. "Where did you get that sweater?", "Oh, my dad gave it to me."

That was pretty damn good... I was laughing at the Cosby sweater even before they called it out...
