I look at the Dallas uniform and I see Michigan and Notre Dame all rolled into one.

That's how I react to the Steelers' uniforms. They all have that gold pants thing going, too. :susp:

Okay...at halftime, or right before...Dallas called a timeout with 9 seconds left and forced seattle to punt. Then the announcers were talking about fair catching, or causing a untimed down with a fair catch...saying that Arizona tried it and did it last year. They lost me. Does anybody know what the hell they were talking about?!?

I believe if you fair catch a punt as time is running out in the half, you have the option of attempting a field goal if time has expired during the punt.

Yeah.

If you fair catch the ball as time runs out. Your team gets a "free" kick attempt from that spot. The other team has to stand 10 yards back from the LOS (so they can't really block it). The kick can either be a FG or a drop kick/punt. 3 points if it goes through the uprights.

Arizona Cardinals tried it from 68 yards last week. Didn't work.

Potentially costly 34-9 win for the Cowboys after Marion Barber and Demarcus Ware leave with injuries in the second half. Early medical results appear to show Barber (toe) and Ware (knee) aren't as bad as first thought.

Safe to say Dallas can't afford to lose those guys with the Steelers, Giants, Ravens and Eagles left to play.

Having an ex-Dallas Cowboy do a Cowboy game is annoying as fuck.

Tank Johnson is not one of the most talented interior linemen in the game, Troy. Sorry.

I was hoping for some good football today. Didn't really expect any, but still. Dallas looked damn good. Demarcus Ware is a monster.

You could punt the ball thru the uprights for 3 points???? Or does it have to bounce off the ground first?

I answered my own question...it has to be a drop kick, not a punt. I don't know why anybody would do a drop kick. Is this rule in the NCAA too?
