That's what I also said.
And I think you're forgetting how highly touted Cornell was coming out of HS. He was an elite DL prospect, just didn't live up to expectations. It happens

Maybe in stature but I think his skillset is more advanced as well, and he has better athleticism and is not as stiff as I recall Cornell being going into his senior year of HS. I like the prior comparison to Freeney.

Adeleye says he gets a bit emotional when he starts to think about putting on an Ohio State jersey in the future.
“It’s just something that, whenever I see that scarlet and gray, it’s been making me feel a certain way for a long time now,” Adeleye said. “I’ve just known deep down this is where I’m gonna end up at when it’s all said and done. That was even before I knew anything about Coach Johnson or knew about his track record of developing people. Before I knew anything about him, I just knew Ohio State, this is where I’m gonna end up at.
“It’s been a long time because, personally, ask anyone that’s really close to me. When I was little, whenever they would ask me ‘Who’s your favorite college team?’ I would say Ohio State. Always. Always. Always. Ask anyone around – my parents, my sisters, my close friends – they all know.”

I don’t quite see Freeney, although I’d love to be wrong. But that dude had the nastiest spin move. And I do see a more skilled and polished player than Cornell.
To me, from a size, stature, and skill set, I see Adrian Clayborn. Had a really good career at Iowa and pretty solid in the NFL. But Clayborn coaches by LJ might have been a 1st team All-American, so
