Tulsa Golden Hurricane at tOSU, Sep 18, 3:30 ET on FS1

I wish I could say he just needs to find his confidence, but at this point I'm not sure if he's game-ready. Putting one of the others in won't help with confidence, but at this point if you really want a shot at post-season goals, you're almost to the point of being damned if you do, damned if you don't from where I sit.

No idea. Keep thinking he's going to hit one over the top. It's possible the 3-3-5 is confusing him and making him hesitant and Day definitely worked more with the defense this week.

He's still young. Didn't expect a Fields vs NW performance in this game though.

I kinda did. He's young enough that last week probably didn't feel so great even though he was 2 or 3 drops away from 500+ yards and 6 TDs.

It takes time, and since this isn't a read-option offense like what Barrett walked into in 2014, the passing reads take a lot longer to learn and feel comfortable with, which means I kinda agree with you about the 3-3-5 messing with him a bit.

Add it all up and you have an off day.
