ttun Shenanigans, Arguments, and Emasculated Cucks (2019 thread)

I like the part about not singing the fight song aloud during RugbyBuck's as it also implies a snicker, tee hee moment over the wives. But I have to take exception at being restrained during a game. If the wife gets too vocal in trying to restrain my enthusiasm I tell her be quiet or leave the room, (the 3rd happenstance is an automatic ejection). When my wife watches the game with me, which she normally does, and gets involved in answering the phone I make her leave the room.
When it gets to "getting along" during a game it's my way or the highway.
Sadly you get 10 demerits for allowing spousal interference. These demerits are non transferable.
I should tell you at other times I do submit to letting her think she's in charge. And one good thing to do is, about every three months I caress the top of her head (pat), tell her I love her, and that she's doing a great job. This usually is good for another 3 months of her feeling good. (This a good practice with your dog, cat, or other pet.
I'm really not sure how you guys end up in these situations. I've never had my wife tell me to quiet down during a Bucks game. Actually, I periodically have to turn up Keels and Lachey so I can hear them over her hollering at the TV (I sync the internet and TV). After 42 years I think I'll keep her.

wow

If that's my kid (well, let's be real...it never would be) I'm furious.

That's kind of a big thing to drop on people at the last minute no?

Yup - that's how your name starts to get poisoned with parents and since it's more or less a national story, it may get a lot of run.

If I'm this kid, I'd seriously think about the Kansas State offer if one happens. If he can mold into a decent QB, which he wouldn't at SCUM, maybe he gets a chance as a grad transfer at a true football school down the road.

And in the meantime, he prays that Kansas State (or wherever he ends up) gets matched up against scUM in a bowl game.

Watching the scUM fans on Mgoboard defend this is hilarious.

Imagine if say Urban had done the same thing? Theyd be crying murder and he'd be the worst coach alive.
'Imagine if Urban did that' has become one of my favorite/least favorite games to play. It's fun cuz it points out how hypocritical and stupid everybody is......but it's a bitch because it's usually true.

It sounds like a tough situation but you have to give Harbaugh credit for handling it in person vs phoning it in or having a staffer phone it in.

I hope he takes the prep school route.

:slappy: hey the kid got his scholarship offer pulled at the last minute but at least Harbaugh was nice enough to tell him in person.

He was given notice. Was it a week or 10 days? I don't know, but it was ahead of signing day. What is sufficient time? At what point is it okay to drop an offer?
There are about five hundred of these comments. Yeah, tons of spots available in January :roll1:

Big boy recruiting involves this ugly side (which is why the recent article only focusing on types of offer was pretty gentle). The difference is whether you fancy your team to be pious.
