I probably would have given Michigan's returning running back talent for next year a slightly lower grade than this.

Some guy on Stadium & Main said:
RB: A+. We're in better shape here than any season in recent memory. EDIT: Also forgot about Chris Evans. Damn, A++. Only concern is that Evans causes Charbonnet or Haskins to hit the transfer portal if he passes them. Hopefully not.

A+? GTFOH. Here's what they return with their 2019 stats:

SO - Zach Charbonnet: 136-642, 4.7 ypc, 11 td
JR - Hassan Haskins: 103-561, 5.4 ypc, 4 td
SR - Tru Wilson: 44-221, 5.0 ypc, 1 td
JR - Christian Turner: 44-171, 3.9 ypc, 1 td
and assuming he's allowed back...
SR - Chris Evans: (2018 stats): 81-423, 5.2 ypc, 4 td

That's a pile of "meh." And they put up those numbers behind a pretty experienced OL that is losing their best blocker (Bredeson), their starting LT (Runyan) and probably their C (Ruiz).

DFBIA gonna DFBIA

I like how they did pretty much nothing this recruiting cycle to address their top glaring issue.

Dline - depth+size. They have ZERO DTs in this class so far, are they just going to keep shifting DEs inside and hope it works? 3 DEs in this clas, one is near the top 100 but the other 2 are both above 400th nationally.

At least another year of their Dline getting manhandled by anyone with a somewhat good Oline

Well shit, taking undersized DEs and turning them into rush LBs in a 3-4 worked so well for the Browns the last 15 years, so...

This is probably the singular reason Auburn can clip Bama but Michigan can’t beat OSU. Aubbie ALWAYS has elite DTs.
