Another good example of Michigan football sets an ethical example for all of us:

https://usatodayhss.com/2017/michigan-football-michael-johnson-recruiting-harbaugh

There's something "goofy" about that article; one month later, i.e. March 14, 2017:

Top-ranked 2019 QB Michael Johnson Jr. leaving California for Oregon

Michael Johnson Jr., ranked by Top 247 as the No. 1 dual quarterback in the Class of 2019, has transferred to Sheldon High in Eugene, Ore.

Johnson’s father is the new wide receivers coach at the University of Oregon.

He previously attended The King’s Academy in Sunnyvale, Calif.), where his father was his high school coach. TKA went 24-9 under Johnson Sr., who also is a former San Diego Chargers receivers coach.

Entire article: https://usatodayhss.com/2017/top-ranked-2019-qb-michael-johnson-jr-leaving-california-for-oregon

Update: Michael Johnson Jr. was in Penn State's 2019 recruiting class.

The guy who bumped that has to be a osu or msu troll right?

In 2016, Michigan wins if the JT spot gets called correctly and that game doesn't even go to OT if the officiating isn't obnoxiously bad. Michigan likely wins the B10 and goes to the CFP. In 2017, Michigan probably wins as a big underdog if Metulus catches an easy interception. In 2018, Michigan goes to the B10 championship and likely wins a rematch against Northwestern if a Maryland player catches an easy 2 point conversion.
2016's spot is gonna eat at them more than 1973's vote.

Looking back on my expectations, I see I'm batting 0.00.

"1. Beat MSU and OSU first season 2. get to BIG championship game second season 3. Get to playoff third season 4. Win NC fourth season 5. Discover cure for cancer fifth season 6. Reduce my Comcast bill sixth season 7. Eliminate national debt seventh season 8. Discover cure for male pattern baldness eighth season 9. Get my dog to stop scooting his ass inside ninth season 10. Win another NC tenth season"
all perfectly reasonable expectations.

This is what's hard for us fans to reconcile. 0-5 and no titles is not what anyone expected. In fact, I would bet you zero Ohio State fans expected to go 5-0 vs Harbaugh.

The question is though, are we trending in the right direction vs where we want to be? I say that's a resounding NO. Ohio State will blow us out next year in Columbus, I am more certain of that than I was heading into Saturday's game. Can Harbaugh get it done here?
A. Lol @ the username. Guess Jimmy isn't so godlike now if the trend is down.
2) (bold added by me) yes I did expect to be 5-0 vs jim-bo. My only doubt was if he would stick around for #5. I doubt I am alone in that.

Gotta take a break. A bit lighthead now.
