I can't imagine either of them playing better than Shea did in the first half......and the second half was plagued with some drops. But I'm sure one of them will be leading the September Heisman ballots next year.

Actually McCaffrey looked better than Mississippi Jesus earlier in the year. He throws as well, if not better, and is a much better runner to fit the new offense they supposedly want to run.

Jimmah ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed and certainly no QB whisperer.

sounds like pre-prepared excuses for a lack of ability already. all of that stuff is table stakes to be the starting QB of an elite program. We haven’t had a starter without those intangibles since maybe Todd Boeckman (no shade to TB)

I’ve lived amongst the DFBIA for more than 25 years. And I can tell you that they don’t respect the rivalry the way we do, and they never will. In 1995 I sat in the pighouse as Michigan fans claimed Biakabatuka was the best RB in the Big 10. Yes better than Eddie George. In 1997 I had a “friend” (was) claim that OSU was like playing Northwestern in that The Game had the same result. And when their team isn’t good, their arrogance takes its form in intellectual superiority, or claims that OSU “cheats”. Meyer’s comments about “respecting your rival” is a subtle dig that they really don’t. It’s the best inside joke I can think of knowing that they’ll never get it.
