I’m curious how they expect to get better next year? Their QB showed a propensity to melt down in the last two games and doesn’t look anywhere near the “program changing” talent they were touting him to be. And before anybody swallows the McCaffrey hype, take a gander at the list of “saviors” they’ve had at that position since 2008. Harbrau has had one qb he’s recruited, Andrew Luck, do anything of note in CFB. They lost their best RB, and none of the guys coming back look like anything more than okay. They supposedly have a good freshman coming in, but that’s no sure thing. The O-line ain’t very good. Their D-line is gonna be razor thin after losing their best two players and another former blue-chip transfer...it could be a tire fire. They lose their best defensive player from the LB corps, and they haven’t recruited great there. Their DBs are average, and some 5* freshman ain’t gonna transform the entire unit.

That doesn’t even get into the coaching issues. I see an 8-5 team next year with more losses to rivals. That probably won’t get Simple Jim fired, but it’ll probably put him on the hot seat in 2020.
