If he was better than Patterson he would be in. We got 99 problems and Patterson ain’t one.

Narrator: While it's true if he was better than Patterson, McCaffrey would be in... it's decidedly not true that of the 99 problems Patterson isn't one of them. Discerning eyes will note a scholarship limit of 85. Thus, after 85 problems, Michigan still had 14 additional problems.

As the hype for Dylan McCaffrey (8-15 career passing) builds, lets remember that prior to the 2017 season, ttun writers (mgoblog leading the way) and the DFBIA were building Brandon Peters up to be Andrew Luck 2.0 (actual terminology). Peters went on to qb a completely impotent scUM offense in 2017 before getting hurt and was a ghost in 2018. The list of scUM "savior" qbs is approaching that Browns QB jersey meme-status.
