Looking for a picture of Vinopal and I stumbled across this absolute gem. If you do nothing else today, take the time to read this article. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be angry and you will be sad. It will help you live a little fuller life, even if it's just for a few minutes today. (and no, near as I can tell this isn't a parody)

LOL...I like this line best...indeed, he was truly a "Michigan Man"

Narrator: And while RichRod and Big Blue would indeed go on to beat Purdue (4-5 at the time, finished 4-8) that fateful Saturday, they did not "put the pedal to the metal" (winning only 27-16) and they did not keep any momentum, unless backward momentum counts. As it was, Michigan would go on to lose their remaining games in 2010; to Wisconsin 28-48, to Ohio State 7-37 and to Mississippi State 14-52 in the Gator Bowl. It was thereafter that his "beloved program" changed directions, hiring a fat garbageman to clap on the sidelines as RicRod could not "Raise up" Big Blue. Whatever may have been his vision, Michigan has not yet won a single Big Ten or National Championship.

Just like they have talked themselves into believing this years recruiting class is the beginning of the "Harbaugh effect", that win over Illinois had the DFBIA convinced the "Rodriguez Effect" was beginning to take place.

They are remarkably stupid.

I think a big reason for that is that the week of the article scUM had beaten Illinois.... you might recall that game..

scUM 67
Illinois 65

3OT

No, I didn't look up a basketball game by mistake.

It's even more hilarious considering this isnt even Harbaugh's best class........They are basically getting a hard on over 1 DB recruit. DFBIA gonna DFBIA.

Well according to that link, RR coaches good defense, as evidenced by some chart they showed from his WVU defenses that I DGAF to look at. 65 points to Illinois is a pretty decent chart all in itself. I’m a believer.

Agreed. As we all know, its never a good look to tweet at recruits. I'm not sure that necessarily changes the day or week after signing day.

I'd even go further and say players too, including your own. At worst the "go win me a championship" spectacle rears its head and at best you're just a creepy guy trying to interact with some foosball player you've never met.

I see no problem with a simple "good luck", "congratulations" or "thank you" sent directly to a player, but anything beyond that is over the line, IMO.

Drew Henson...forgot about that dude. Here's his NFL stats:

11-20 for 98 yards. 1 TD and 1 INT. 3 fumbles, 1 lost.
3 different NFL teams over parts of 4 years almost exclusively on the practice squad.

Oh, and he also played in 8 MLB games going 1-9 at the plate.
Ok, Rockie and Jax, which nut would you give to be able to point to your name in the Baseball Digest and say, “Yeah, I was up for a cup of coffee.”? Or have a World Series ring like Szabo has?
