I'd even go further and say players too, including your own. At worst the "go win me a championship" spectacle rears its head and at best you're just a creepy guy trying to interact with some foosball player you've never met.
Finkes was replying to an interview the kid did a Michigan website/station. Is was not even a tweet he was responding to.

Be better than that Matt.

Drew Henson...forgot about that dude. Here's his NFL stats:

11-20 for 98 yards. 1 TD and 1 INT. 3 fumbles, 1 lost.
3 different NFL teams over parts of 4 years almost exclusively on the practice squad.

Oh, and he also played in 8 MLB games going 1-9 at the plate.

Pretty sure that I saw Henson play for the Clippers one night in Toledo against the Mud Hens... or was that some other over rated tsun grad? It was a long time ago... but pretty sure it was Henson.

Well, actually he wasn't good enough for an OSU football offer.

So now he's going to play the part of the aggrieved Ohio kid who didn't get his offer.

He's like Goth kids in HS. There are always a few and they are always sadly pathetic.

A close friend of mine's son (both he and his son are Buckeye fans) goes to high school with Velazquez. The kid's been taking a fair amount of crap from some of the local kids for his choice of school since before his unfortunate gold pants comment, so I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt that he'd just had enough and like a typical teenager didn't handle it in an ideal way. FWIW, my friend said the kid's a "spectacular" baseball player. Of course, none of this means that I won't be happy to add him to the platinum sombrero club in a few years.
