Somebody has to be the DMZ.
I’ve been to toledo enough to know not to describe it as “demilitarized”.
Pretend you sell magazines or ad space on TV stations. Also, pretend you know these things as absolute facts:Meanwhile, I’m catching up on the recruiting pages and wondering why there’s so much love for Michigan in the pre-season vs love for the Bucks. Home field advantage? Ryan Day won’t be ready? Shea is suddenly Tom Brady Harmon? I just don’t see it.

Phil Steele, who is arguably the one person who doesn’t rely on the above method, is overly reliant on his algorithms.Pretend you sell magazines or ad space on TV stations. Also, pretend you know these things as absolute facts:
1. Michigan fans are so stupid that they will fully buy in every year right around March.
2. Buckeye fans are so stupid that they will listen to talking heads telling them how bad their team is, just so they can shout "Nuh uhhhhhh!" back at them.
Where would you rank these teams each and every year?
Bonus factoid: Texas fans are almost as stupid as Michigan fans, but they need a little push. Like being 100% confirmed that "They're back!" after the first game of every season.

Experienced QB, experienced HC, home field advantage all tip the scales for Michigan in his algorithms, I’m sure.
His algorithms don’t factor in a HC with aspergers, a HC who uses a 1983 offense like a baby’s blankie in big games (extra points this year for bringing in an OC who ostensibly is going to run something more exciting, but you know Harbaugh is going to overrule in crunch time and revert back to 1983, which will be fun), and a program culture that causes every player to plateau no matter how talented or experienced.
