Steve, hasn't the 2-10-1 been eclipsed by the 2-13-0 (?) that the Wolverweenies have since achieved? Not counting the removed loss during the Tressel "Tatoogate" debacle. We kept one head coach, and they've run through, what four? Go Bucks!

There was just an article about this, maybe 11W, that refuted this notion on a single premise. Simply, the 2-10-1 came against teams that were of equal talent or lesser talent to Cooper’s tOSU teams whereas 2-13-0 has come against a down period for them. Given that it was a down period, 2-13-0 is far more in line with expectations than 2-10-1 ever was. As such 2-10-1 is still worse for us than 2-13-0 has been for them.

I tend to agree.

And per the above, I will not consider it to be even until the series continues in the current lopsided fashion until everyone I will ever meet in my lifetime have, themselves, died.

Fuck those assholes balls deep, and dry.

I disagree in the sense that while frustrating to have great seasons ruined by an inferior rival, the rest of those 2-10-1 seasons weren't spent losing to the fucking Appy State and Toledo's of the world.

Oh, make no mistake about it, the lows that they have seen, across the board, are far lower than any lows I can every remember... née, could ever conceive... there is no doubt in my mind that the decade+ of pillow biting they have been forced to endure has been far more painful than a the decade of hot tubs and Big Bear.

But if we’re talking about records and expectations in The Game over those two decades, I cannot agree that their pain could have been as great as ours. Never, in any of the Coop years did I ever feel like we had no chance to win The Game. I suspect that I’m of the majority opinion there. Contrast that with the complete capitulation we have seen from all but the very D of the DFBIA, and we see that the disappointments have been far greater on our side.

And yeah, Fuck’n-A man! Fuck’n-A.

I see your point but let's think about it for a second

The Game(s) that were especially brutal during 2-10-1 because I knew OSU was better and expected victory: 1993, 95, 96, 97

1987-1992 Coopers teams always came up short but actually played pretty well but were outmanned. After the 98 team was gone you just knew that choke artist cocksucker wasn't ever going to win The Game again. All losses in The Game are painful but 4 stand out.

The Game for tsun: 2006, 2007, 2015, 2016, 2017.....they were all stoked and had hopes of winning those games. They were each major league dick punches.

6-4 good guys in the Thanos strength dong punch losses category AND they had the ignominity of Toledo and Appy State in there.

Advantage OSU (as always)

I’ll give you ‘06... maybe ‘07 given Boeckman at QB. But 2015, for no other reason than Hairball is no disappointment. 2016 was at the Shoe and while it was a close game, I think that was as much a surprise to them as it was to us. And 2017, they all knew that JOK was going to be under center and it was only a matter of time before they lost. So, yeah... I’ll give you two legit cock punches. One for ‘06 and .25 for ‘15 and ‘16 and .5 for ‘17, but only because that was at the Pig House and they sent a hit-cameraman after JTB.

Man they were CONVINCED the Hart/Henne/Long crew were coming back to win The Game in '07. Then Beanie said....

I will argue to my grave that they have been 100% all in "we're gonna win" for all 3 of Harbaughs losses.

Also let's not forget '04. They were favored...in The Shoe

Well, Hairball is their savior so I get the blind devotion angle so I give some credit to that. But they all knew they were playing with Hoke’s recruits (just wait until he has his own recruits!!!) in ‘15 and ‘17 they were convinced they had a chance with Peters but none with JOK, but it was still in their stadium.

For ‘04 and ‘16,, nobody is really favored in the Shoe except tOSU.

If it's 2-30-0, I will be mildly pleased and looking to the future...

I'm going to disagree, because we forced their down years on them. And by we, I mean Tressel. He kicked their asses when we were down, kicked them again while we were even, then forced them into hiring Dick Rod to revolutionize the B1G.
