Michigan still leads the all-time series 58-51-6. (Yes, 2010 happened!) But, I'm willing to bet that anyone reading this in 2018 or even for the most of 2019, Ohio State has a winning record against Michigan during your lifetime. You have to go back to 1907 to find a year where the cumulative record from that year to this year where Michigan has at least as many wins as Ohio State in the series. If you were born in 1907, both have 51 wins, with 5 ties. Since then, Ohio State has a winning record from ten to today.

If you're born in 1976 (like me), Ohio State has a 0.547 win percentage. The main reason I mention that is that that is the lowest win percentage of anyone else until you get back to 1945 (0.547) and 1943 (0.546). Ohio State has a worse win percentage in my lifetime than pretty much everyone I know.

One of the biggies in terms of difference between the fanbases.

When they had the better of it they wen't with the dismissive, elitist "it's not a rivalry anymore" approach. From a fan intensity perspective, they took their collective eye off the ball.

OSU fanbase gets the better of it and the hate just keeps burning hotter. We (mostly) understand this at an instinctive level; never take the foot off the throat once evil has been subjugated.

Yep, I had to deal with those insufferable "friends" every year. They were arrogant as fuck and were leading up to this Saturday. Now it is all crickets.

If it were me, 1) I'd get different friends and 2) I wouldn't let it be crickets.

Seriously. I'd be calling/texting every few minutes to make sure they are ok, just out of worry from not hearing from them in so long.

I'd maybe even call/text 62 times

My college buddies from places like Hilliard, Bellbrook, Milford, and Cambridge that all root for TTUN kept asking me why I care about the game so much. They claimed it wasn't any different than any other game. However, the 2011 game brought them out of their caves to scream about how much winning The Game means to TTUN.

And...now they are back to asking why this game is any different and that PSU is more of a rivalry for the Buckeyes than TTUN. Hahahahahahaha

Fuck 'em!

College football Power Rankings: More drama, surprises in Week 13

8. Michigan (10-2, 8-1 Big Ten)

i

With everything riding on The Game on Saturday -- a trip to the Big Ten championship game, a potential spot in the CFP and a chance to finally beat rival Ohio State -- the Wolverines couldn't have looked any worse. Michigan surrendered 62 points -- the most it has ever given up in a non-overtime game dating back to 1891 -- and 567 yards of offense. Coach Jim Harbaugh fell to 0-4 against the Buckeyes, who have won seven straight games in the series and 14 of the past 15 overall. If Ohio State sneaks into the CFP, the Wolverines might still end up in the Rose Bowl Presented by Northwestern Mutual. If the Buckeyes are left out, Michigan still seems to be a sure bet for a New Year's Six bowl, possibly the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl

This thread is gold...though I’m sure it’s embellished for some sort of feeling of moral superiority.

Oh, and:

:roll1: and

so i'm reading this thread and i'm just waiting and waiting for him to cite some osu fan's behavior that is truly all that repugnant and indefensible. but... what? some fans didn't want him to take their picture? fans playfully booed when it's announced that someone's from tsun? and *gasp* *clutching pearls* fans shouted "fuck"?

give me a break. maybe it's time you wipe your vagina, ma'am.
