It didn't take long to lose both the August Heisman and the August NC.

Oh have no fear, after WMU and SMU the next 2 weeks it will be all whole milk and khaki's again.

They will be all the way back from whatever aberrations they convince themselves explain away week 1.

That is fair from his point of view. If there is a site that counts QB hurries, hits, sacks, TFLs, I bet Winovich set some records last night. The long blond hair was in the backfield every down.

I'd hit it.

Did not see the game. Saw a bit of the post-game presser on ESpin. Harbaugh looks like a beaten man.

Or more accurately, a beaten man who has no idea what is going wrong and who to blame, and is extremely angry at everyone but himself.

Wish I had a pic of his as he walked over to shake hands with ol purple face. Disillusion comes to life.

New vBet created for TTUN's regular season record. Their schedule:

09/01 at Notre Dame
09/08 Western Michigan
09/15 SMU
09/22 Nebraska
09/29 at Northwestern
10/06 Maryland
10/13 Wisconsin
10/20 at Sparty
10/27 BYE
11/03 Penn State
11/10 at Rutgers
11/17 Indiana
11/24 at THE Ohio State University

These are the odds I came up with:
12-0 is 49-1
11-1 is 10-1
10-2 is 5-1
09-3 is 3-1
08-4 is 5-2
07-5 is 4-1
06-6 is 8-1
losing record is 33-1

I didn't get in on this, but I think 6-6 is very realistic. I see 4 losses going into their bye week: ND, Wiscy, Sparty and one out of NW and Corn. After that, the wheels could seriously come off ending up with THE applying a coup de grace headshot.

Can't talk serious about Michigan without talking recruiting. And the biggest problem UM has to solve is the OL.

Harbaugh got off to a fast start with Bredeson and Onwenu - both of whom are juniors starting on this lackluster line. But in his efforts to keep up with the big dog since here is the outcome based on the overall national rank of each player recruited:

2017 -
Michigan #47, 112, 301, 365 and 441
OSU #21, 53 and 285

2018 -
Michigan #268 and 335
OSU # 7, 68 AND 121

so far in 2019 -
Michigan #130*, 297, 392 and 512
OSU #33, 79 and 293

OSU has recruited 7 kids ranked in the top 79 in the nation.
Michigan has 1.

Sure, OL can be a bit of a crap shoot (the only OSU player starting from the 2017 class is Munford - the #285 kid). But there are only so many silk purses in all those pig ears UM is landing.

*Rumler, an Ohio kid who so far as I am aware did not receive an OSU offer
