Johnson has not recorded any stats in 2017. He previously was a wide receiver before switching to defense prior to this season. The school did not provide a reason for his suspension.

Former Michigan CB Nate Johnson pleads guilty to assault, per report

Former Michigan cornerback Nate Johnson pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and battery on Wednesday, according to MLive. Johnson was arrested on Sept. 30 and then kicked off the Michigan team early last month after he assaulted a woman he was dating.

Johnson, 19, was originally charged with domestic violence, but that charge was amended as part of a plea deal, according to the report.
